quignition is a New York-based producer and original music artist working across electronic music and AI-assisted composition.

The process starts with a question, usually about a character or a moment, and builds from there. AI tools generate the initial sketches, textures and melodic directions that wouldn't come from instinct alone. From there it's iterative. Listening, steering, reshaping, going back to the same idea from a different angle to see what surfaces. The first pass is never the answer. The real work happens in the conversation between what the tools produce and what the ear decides to keep.

The creative decisions are always human. The palette is just wider than it used to be.
